Avalon Retreat
KENYA - September 20-27, 2024
Being held in love to move forward in purpose
7 days of meeting in love to grow through our connection and explore what we can create together. In the legend of King Arthur, Avalon was an island where wounded warriors came to heal and regain strength. Today's Avalon community is for individuals and groups to reclaim embodied self-empowerment — to learn the truth of our own creative power and human beauty so clearly that we know it in our bodies. From here, we can become true leaders, contributing our unique gifts for positive impact in the world.
On a hill in Kenya's Great Rift Valley, at the convergence of two rivers on an ancient lakeshore, our common ancestors first began to gather in cooperative communities. The power of this land still resonates with our deep longing for connection and union. We invite leaders to come together for one week of deep connection and co-creation. This gathering is specifically designed for leaders who have demonstrated success in many areas of their lives but who know that deep inside of themselves, there are still some persistent things that hold them back and from which they want to break free from; Leaders who care so deeply about their purpose that they would give whatever it takes to heal and rise to a higher level of potential, to find their pearls. Like those who stood on this land many years ago and gave up their solo journey for one in union with others, they know that only love, in connection with others, has the power to heal. This invite-only retreat seeks to create a space for leaders to focus both on their personal journey and to explore what we might create through our connection.

Ishq is a retreat center in Kenya's Great Rift Valley. Archeological excavations adjacent to the site suggest it was at this spot, at the end of the last ice age, that humans first began to gather in community. We believe that the land holds a power and invites retreat participants to deeply explore love and connection.
